Dr. Thomas “Dr. Tom” Morrison Joins Good Health Clinic as Medical Director

Good Health Clinic (GHC) is proud to announce that Dr. Thomas “Dr. Tom” Morrison will join the organization as Medical Director, effective June 1, 2026. A longtime supporter of the clinic and a deeply engaged member of the Florida Keys community, Dr. Morrison brings decades of clinical experience and a shared commitment to ensuring access to care for uninsured and financially vulnerable residents throughout the Keys.

Dr. Morrison has been connected to Good Health Clinic for many years, supporting its mission through patient referrals, philanthropy, and community engagement. He is also a past participant in the clinic’s signature Kahuna Challenge fundraiser, where he was crowned Big Kahuna in 2019. His longstanding involvement reflects a deep alignment with the clinic’s belief that healthcare should be accessible, compassionate, and rooted in community.

In addition to his role at Good Health Clinic, Dr. Morrison operates his private practice, Doc on the Rock, where he focuses on patient-centered, affordable care. He was recognized as the Best Upper Keys Doctor in Keys Weekly’s 2025 Best of the Upper Keys, further underscoring the trust and respect he has earned throughout the region. His clinical background spans general surgery, emergency medicine, and primary care—experience that positions him well to lead in a setting that serves patients with complex and often unmet needs.

“I’m honored to join the Good Health Clinic team and contribute to the important work being done by this organization,” said Dr. Morrison. “Accessible healthcare remains out of reach for too many hardworking individuals and families in our community. I look forward to working alongside the clinic’s dedicated staff, volunteer providers, community partners, and supporters to make sure care is there when people need it most.”

Dr. Morrison succeeds Dr. Steven Lawyer, who has served as Medical Director since 2019. During his tenure, Dr. Lawyer played an instrumental role in strengthening the clinic’s medical services and expanding the scope of care available to patients. His clinical expertise and thoughtful, comprehensive approach to patient care have left a lasting impact on the organization and the community it serves.

With Dr. Morrison stepping into this role, Good Health Clinic looks ahead to its next chapter—building on a strong foundation while continuing to expand access to high-quality care for those who would otherwise go without.
